2. Package Contents
- PATON welding machine
- Ground cable
- Electrode holder or torch (depending on model)
- User manual
- Warranty card
3. Safety Requirements
- Always wear protective gear: welding helmet, gloves, protective clothing.
- Do not operate the machine in wet or poorly ventilated areas.
- Keep the machine away from flammable materials.
- Ensure proper grounding.
- Avoid contact with exposed conductors.
4. Preparation for Use
1. Place the machine on a stable surface.
2. Connect the ground cable.
3. Connect the electrode holder or torch.
4. Check all cables and connections.
5. Plug the machine into a 220 V power supply (or 380 V for specific models).
5. Operating Modes
MMA: set the current, insert the electrode, strike the arc.
TIG Lift: connect the TIG torch, turn on argon, ignite the arc by touching.
MIG/MAG: install the wire spool, connect shielding gas, adjust wire feed and current.
6. Operating Recommendations
- Use electrodes 1.6–5.0 mm.
- Do not exceed the duty cycle.
- Clean the machine regularly.
- Do not block ventilation openings.
7. Maintenance
- Inspect contacts and cables regularly.
